DC aka Dinner Club
DINNER CLUB!
Here in Salt Lake there are some great places to eat and we felt that we should go and try these places out one week at a time. So we go out to eat each but never at the same place twice. This is a group at a local Thai restaurant called Bangkok Thai. The food was good but it was way over priced! And the service was terrible and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
I think the best place I've been so far is the "Tin Angel" it had the decor great service! and the food was great! A little pricey but I thought it was great! I love the DC!

Salt Lake Temple
So living down town has been great! There has been a lot to see and a lot to do. I live about a block from the Salt Lake Temple...and I've been taking advantage of this. I've been trying to go and see the MoTab at least two to three times a month on Sunday mornings. And I will have to say that it's been a beautiful blessing for me. Such inspirational music and seeing the orchastra play with them each week has been a treat for me. I love the violen and I'd say its the best part of the whole thing for me.
I've been visiting temple square and taking all the tours even of the conference center across the street where I had a tour of the gardens on top the building and a few weeks ago there was an art exhibit at the conference center and that was great just to go through and check out all the talent!
I'm really enjoying myself here in Salt Lake...and I'm questioning as to why I didn't make the move sooner! And questioning why it is that so many dislike it here?? I've never lived anywhere where people dislike where they live...then move! It almost seems crazy that they continue to live somewhere they don't like?? Not sure what this is about...but I'll tell you once I figure it all out. But for now I've meet a lot of great people!

A Whole New Me...
I can't explain how I feel. It's calm, anxious, excited. Maybe that qualifies me as crazy...I'm okay with that.
January 9th I found myself moving to Salt Lake City, Utah
and since then it's been a jouney. Only one month has passed and I'm finding a whole new me. I want different things for myself and I find the good Lord close and His tender mercies pooring out upon me. Yet I find opposition on all sides and the advisary doesn't seem to let up. And finding peace within seems so far away. I don't think I've been this confused since my mission. With a roller coster of emotions prozac seems to be an anwser lol. Yet I know that this move was the best thing for me; as was the mission.
I have found good people here they are so wonderful and full of life. And I'm glad that good friends are only a phone call away. Blessed with friends and family and the word or God...what more could I ask for. Life is interesting and I wonder what the Lord has in mind for me sometimes.
